I may have noted last year, that after couple of years with a different PCP, per insurance coverage, returning to WakeMed was great. Dr. Atree my PCP and Dr.[] my cardiologist worked together seamlessly to coordinate my care. Each addressing their area of expertise yet always cognizant of my overall medical needs and well being. Once I became eligible for Medicare, I immediately returned to Dr.Atree & Wake Med for my primary care.

My experience with Dr. Atree has always been exemplary. I feel extremely fortunate to have him as my Primary Care physician. He always appears to be genuinely concerned about my health. The Staff at Wake Med Primary Care is truly exceptional. I am greeted immediately upon entering the office and never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. The nursing staff is considerate and always shares the information about my vital signs immediately upon completion of the measurements. Upon moving to Raleigh from Seattle, Washington, Dr Atree was the first physician I visited. That was nearly 17 years ago and I have respected and appreciated his level of care for me during this entire period. He is prompt in ordering/reordering prescribed medications. He is also very thorough in explaining why the medication is needed and any potential side affects I may experience. Dr. Atree is kind, polite and compassionate. As a [] year old mother, I've lost two adult children to death within the past four years. I can't tell you how much Dr. Atree has helped me in processing this loss. His level of concern and knowledge of my health questions and concerns has been critical to my remaining in good health. My only concern is that he may retire before I pass away!!
