WakeMed Welcomes Au Bon Pain - Popular Café-Bakery to Open at WakeMed Raleigh Campus on December 14

RALEIGH, N.C. (December 13, 2012) – On Friday, December 14, Au Bon Pain the international café bakery and a leader in the fast casual restaurant category, announced today the opening of its first Raleigh location at the WakeMed Raleigh Campus. The café is known for its fresh baked goods, gourmet sandwiches, salads, fresh-brewed coffee and espresso.

WakeMed staff and visitors can choose from made-to-order and grab-and-go sandwiches, create your own salads and an extensive selection of baked goods as well as eight daily rotating specialty soups. The café, located in the Raleigh Campus Commons near the WakeMed Gift Shop and Pharmacy, will be open Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 10 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, from 7 am to 9 pm. The new WakeMed location will also feature indoor and outdoor seating.
