Neurological Rehab Programs The Neurological Rehab Programs are designed to help individuals with neurological problems achieve greater independence and productivity. The emphasis of these programs is on the prevention of medical complications, physical rehabilitation, cognitive retraining, independent living skills, communication, psychosocial and vocational needs.
Rehabilitation Services for Children For children who have acquired or congenital disorders, WakeMed Rehab offers a variety of therapeutic treatments provided by professionals who are skilled in working with children.
Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Rehab WakeMed is a recognized leader in the care of patients following orthopaedic surgery, joint replacement, fractures or amputations.
Aquatics Program There are three different types of Aquatic programs at WakeMed: Aquatic Physical Therapy, Independent Aquatic Exercise, Therapeutic Aquatic Group Exercise Classes.

REACH Programs:
"PAT" Pet Assisted Therapy Along side his trainer and Licensed/Certified Recreation Therapist, WakeMed's facility dog works with patients in a clinical setting to help them regain their health, function and independence.
Club Reach: Club Reach is a twice a week membership program directed toward individuals who have incurred loss of some physical functioning through illness, injury or disease process and who also want to engage in social activities designed to provide an opportunity for recreation, leisure and fitness.
The WakeMed Health Park With nearly 40,000 square feet, the Health Park at WakeMed sets a new standard in care. This one-of-a-kind facility offers an environment much like any other park - curbs, bridges, various walking surfaces, plants, trees and park benches. The Health Park also features a putting green, fish pond, boat and walking track complete with a special area just for kids.
Cardiac Rehabilitation Program The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at WakeMed Healthworks is a North Carolina state-certified, medically directed program for individuals who have had a heart attack, coronary artery by-pass surgery, ongoing angina (chest pain) or other cardiac event.
Supervised Adult Fitness from Healthworks Healthworks offers a broad range of exercise and educational programs including cardiac rehab, pulmonary rehab, Safe Way to Fitness and other community-based activities designed for people with varying needs.
