Imaging Services
Our imaging services offer convenient access to a wide range of diagnostic imaging, including general radiography, large-bore MRI, digital screening mammography, bone densitometry for osteoporosis, ultrasound and tomography. Appointments are readily available, and routine X-rays can be done on a walk-in basis. A physician's order is required for all exams.
Laboratory services
Our laboratory offers specimen collection for a full range of diagnostic and pathologic testing, as well as frozen sections. Many of the more frequently ordered tests are done on-site, while others are sent to our Raleigh campus for analysis. WakeMed's laboratories are among the most comprehensive and advanced in the nation. A physician's order is required for all exams.
