Campaign 2011: The Next Level
Someday will be a day like any other day. Only different.
There will be hearts to repair, joints to replace and patients to rehab. There will be children to treat, trauma victims to triage and tiny newborns to save. There will be doctors and nurses to train and the underserved to care for. Only there will be more of them. A lot more of them.
And there will be other differences. New needs to address. New challenges to meet. New burdens to bear. All requiring our immediate attention.
Because the time to plan and prepare for someday is today. Now. This very minute. And we're one health system that's just as committed to being there for all the people we serve today as for all the people we'll serve in the future.
Addressing their needs means expansion, renovation, growth. It means new technology, new equipment, new services, new skills. And more people.
In short, addressing their needs means addressing our needs. Our capital needs. Because someday has a price tag. A fifty million dollar price tag. Fifty million dollars. That's what it will take to take WakeMed to the next level.
