Interventional Imaging (Angio)

Angio creates images of the body's organs and inside of blood vessels. It is particularly useful in creating images of the arteries and veins to help physicians see how well blood is flowing through them.

A special contrast agent is injected into the patient. The physician then uses X-ray technology to view blood flow or organ function. Angio can be a welcome alternative to several surgical procedures.
