I hope all of you had a healthy and happy holiday season and took the opportunity to come and enjoy good food, music and fellowship at the annual holiday party on December 13, 2006. Our Omega Jewelry sale, held the same day, was a great success and will result in almost $10,000 in profit for the Volunteers! Many thanks to the volunteers who took time out of a busy season to work at the sale. Please plan to take advantage of the guided tour of the main campus offered monthly, either daytime or evening, to learn your way around if you are a new volunteer, or to keep abreast of changes, which seem to be a constant factor with a growing facility like WakeMed. Speaking of Jackie, she will be receiving recognition for 5 years of service soon, and we all feel so fortunate to have her coordinating the Volunteer Services office. Please give he a word of appreciation next time you see her.
