Position Information
Operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to make quality radiographs of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. Accomplishes patient care in timely, professional, efficient and safe manner.
Experience Requirements
:
Registered or *Registry Eligible *Registry eligible technologists must take the registry within four months of becoming registry eligible or transferring into a cross-training position. If the exam is failed, the technologist must retake the exam within four months of the last test date and must successfully pass this examination by the third sitting. If the registry is failed on the third attempt, the technologist will no longer be considered registry eligible and will not be eligible to work in the modality.
Education Requirements
:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
:
Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) CPR certified
