Position Information
Operates MRI equipment to make quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures. Accomplishes patient care in a timely, professional, efficient and safe manner.
Experience Requirements
:
ARRT(NM)(MR) or ARRT(R)(MR), or registry eligible, minimum. Previous MRI experience.
Education Requirements
:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
:
ARRT(R),(MR) or registry eligible or ARRT MR) **Registry eligible technologist must take the registry within 4 months of becoming registry eligible. If the exam is failed, the technologist must retake the exam within 4 months of the last test date and must successfully pass this exam by the third sitting. If the registry is failed on the third attempt, the technologist will no longer be considered registry eligible and will not be eligible to work in the modality.
