Position Information
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates continuing educational needs of nursing staff and inpatients. Proctors and mentors nurses enrolled in Internship program for Perioperative nurses.
Experience Requirements
:
Two (2) years recent clinical experience in perioperative setting. Demonstrated application of adult teaching/learning strategies in formal classroom and clinical instruction.
Education Requirements
:
Graduate of approved school of nursing with a Baccalaureate degree. (Master s degree in Education preferred.).
Licensure/Certification Requirements
:
Registered Nurse with current North Carolina license.
Hours of Work
:
Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:15pm
